The Baltimore County Auxiliary Police Team will conduct applicant testing for our 2011 recruit class on Saturday September 25, October 30, and December 11, 2010, for those interested in being hired as an Auxiliary Police Officer (This is volunteer position). Testing will be conducted at the Baltimore County Public Safety Building, 700 E Joppa Rd, Towson, MD, 21286. Applicants should arrive at 9:30 AM. Testing will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. The next Auxiliary member promotion exam will be offered on Saturday October 16, 2010 at 1000 hours at the Auxiliary Office, PC12. Any member with three or more years of credible service can test for the position of Auxiliary Sergeant. Any Auxiliary Sergeant with five or more credible years may test for Auxiliary Lieutenant. The Federal Emergency Management Agency now offers study classes on-line. Any Auxiliary member that successfully completes a class receives a three hour training credit. Auxiliary members must submit their final exam along with a time ticket to the Auxiliarty Administrator, who will in turn submit the exam to FEMA. The Baltimore County Auxiliary Police Team continues to verify the residence of registered Sexual Offenders within Baltimore County. Officers are conducting unannounced visits verifying the home addresses of registered Sexual Offenders.
